Who are the Roadkill Rollers?

Roadkill Rollers is a flat track roller derby league founded in 2015 and based in Nijmegen, NL. Since its inception the league has grown to about 45 members. We train in Sporthal De Horstacker twice a week.

The club has motivated trainers, an off-skate team and PR-committee. During the year we organize fun activities, such as the FM Bootcamp, scrimmages, home bouts and a small teams tournament. Extra curricular activities for our members include Foute Bingo, Hello-ween and a summer BBQ.

What is Roller Derby?

Roller derby is a fun and exciting sport comprising the best aspects of rollerskating, ice skating and American Football. It was originally invented in the United States in the 1930’s and had ups and downs in popularity in the next decades. At the beginning of the 21st century its popularity resurged again and saw the growth of more and more roller derby leagues worldwide.
