The Roadkill Rollers are hosting another round of Roller Derby try-outs!
Do you love flying like the wind on skates? Do you love playing an exciting and physically and strategically demanding sport? Do you love awesome teammates? Then come join us!

Roller derby is a fast-paced sport on quad skates, but it’s suitable for every age, gender, and body type! We are a very inclusive team, with players of various backgrounds, ages, and experience levels, working as one to have fun on track!
The try-outs will take place on September 19th and 23rd, in Sports Hall de Horstacker in Nijmegen. We will start with finding some gear (helmet, wrist, elbow, and kneepads, and a pair of skates that will fit your feet!) At 20.30h, the warm up will start (on sports shoes), followed by the try-out! You will be introduced to the basics of skating and, more importantly, falling safely! The session will conclude with a demo by our game team, where people will be available to answer any and all questions you have about roller derby.
